Lately

Lately has been very HOT here in the city (although upper left pic was taken in Rhode Island), and it's also been kinda awesome.  One of my besties and her baby, my Mini BFF were in town, our niece learned to talk a bit and walk, my dad caught a foul ball, and we're discovering new restaurants in our neighborhood.  How has your lately been?

Tristan & I are headed to Puerto Rico for the long weekend! We are preeeettttyyy excited about relaxing by the water with a book in hand for a few days. It's my birthday present- I turn 30 a week from today! Any exciting plans this Memorial Day?

This weekend is promising to be an exciting one. One of my besties, Caitlin, is having her bridal shower and bachelorette party, followed by Easter with Tristan's family and then a quick getaway to Atlantic City.  The best part about living far away from most of your friends, is that when they come to town for a big event you KNOW you're going to have a great time!

Lately

Here's a little visual of lately around these parts. There's been a bit of crafting, some actual relaxing (a rarity for me) and a lot, I mean A LOT, of tea drinking. There's also been some movie going. I highly recommend Silver Linings Playbook. I loved everything about it. There's been some reading. I'm halway through The Lacuna and I'm really enjoying it. It was recommended by THIS lovely blog reader- THANK YOU!! There's been photo sorting since we now have all of our wedding proofs and some travel planning, too. Tristan and I are spending a weekend in New Orleans in early March and a few weeks later I'm heading to England where one of my favorite people in the universe will be a new mom!
