eventful weekend!

a LOT went on this weekend (including my dunkin' donuts gift card design deadline for some new cards that unfortunately, i can't post yet until i get the ok from DD)....a HUGE thanks to my fab slogan writing family & friends :-) I *DONUT* know what i'd do without you!

other events of the weekend include melissa's birthday party, stalking mariah carey at the tribeca film festival with nick and breaking my glasses. Please note that i have been wearing glasses for 15 years and have never broken them. Today, with only a few hours till the most major deadline of my illustration career they broke. LOL. no worries though, they are now fixed.

exciting night!

it's been a really exciting night!
#1- APT 3E ADOPTED A KITTEN!!!!!!
she's 6 months old- more pics to come, we will pick her up saturday morning!
(phil don't get mad- the only reason i was allowed to get a cat is because WE HAD MICE.)

and #2- I finished decorating the yoga bags!

oh! and also cause you work the dvr for me (specifically because we both are possibly the only 20somethings who dvr the mary tyler moore show)

tonight i'll be working on a candyland centerpiece for a sweet birthday party for layla- turing 6!
so i was looking up candy land art and am totally blown away by these- this artist works in beads- i went through a bead phase and this makes me want to go right back into it!

i was asked to make this card for a 40th birthday of a new dad who used to be a soccer player- or footballer is the actual term as they are british and this is an english team- thought i'd post it cause baby hudson is so cute! (and just over 4 months old now)

am working on 2 more yoga bags for swarovski's breast cancer fundraiser! (duplicates of the first) one will be auctioned in nyc stores and one will be on display in their madison avenue store! (details to come when i know more specifics). here's a pic of my work in progress!

and i now only drink dunkin donuts. :-)
