A few weeks ago artist Rob Jelinski asked me to film some footage to send to him, based off of my most recent book for the Sketchbook Project. Tristan filmed me chatting away and collaging and yesterday I saw what Rob put together along with this cool image featured above. I can't wait for you all to see! Sometimes you'll find yourself with a to-do list so long you get a chest pain when you read through it, and you genuinely don't know WHEN or HOW you will get like, um, ANY of it done....
bbbbbuuuuutttttt sometimes, you just gotta whip out your handy dandy glue gun instead of doing a single thing on that list and get crafty because at the end of the day, that to-do list will be better tackled if you're wearing new cute handmade headbands.
Trust me, I know these things.

A marriage proposal

A little while ago I mentioned a commission I had to create a piece of art that was going to be used as a marriage proposal!
Well, the newly engaged groom-to-be shared some photos from the big engagement day with me, and I couldn't be happier for them.
He had the piece hung at a gallery and when they were looking at the art he popped the question….
And she said YES! So sweet!
