More Love Letters

Yesterday, my pal Alex (aka photo-friend-alex) invited me to a Love Letter NYC Party! Not knowing anything about it, and loving paper as much as I do, I was intrigued.

It turns out The World Needs More Love Letters is a really great organization founded by Hannah Brencher. Hannah overcame a bout with depression by writing love letters to strangers.  Realizing this activity helped her, she knew it could also help others…and it has!

With a twist of irony, this has grown greatly due to social media and yet it brings back the art form of a hand-written note. We participated yesterday with paper donated by Crane  (I love Crane!) at their NYC event. You can read more about the organization and how to get involved HERE!
