Tristan & I happen to be very lucky on the friend front, as a lot of the people very close to us are amazingly talented. One of which is Nikki Baxendale, who took these photos for us so we could make our save the dates. Thanks Nikki, for capturing these!
I'm wearing a dress designed & made by my friend Elsie from the Red Velvet Shop dress with a shirt from Urban Outfitters over, along with my favorite Frye Boots (thanks, mom!)
I believe every Sunday should be spent jumping with large quantities of balloons. Don't you?

The Sketchbook Project (THIS IS MY 1000TH POST!)

Last year I participated in The Sketchbook Project and when it came up again I decided to go for it! I really liked doing it last time, and even more than that I really liked seeing it at The Brooklyn Art Library months later on a date with Tristan. :-)
I decided to treat mine as a photo sketchbook this year. Since getting my Iphone in October, I've been instagram-crazy (or KRAY-KRAY as the Kardashian's would say…yes, I just wrote that) and decided to do something with them for this.
I'm also addicted to Japanese Washi tape, and have quite an ever-growing collection. If it needs to be taped close, it should look pretty! Right??? RIGHT!!!
The mini polaroid looking images were printed through Prinstagram.
The square images as well as the aluminum print for the cover were printed through PostalPix.

something sweet!

My future sister-in-law and her husband are expecting! I took these photos this weekend for them. I couldn't be happier for them! They're great people who will be great parents. &&&&& Tristan & I get new titles- Aunt & Uncle :-) We're quite excited about this too. It's taking serious self control not to start shopping for this kiddo yet!

i love a good photo challenge. like, LOVE.
you might remember i did a 365 project awhile ago (you can see it in it's entirety HERE) and nowwww i'm participating in instagram's January Photo A Day project! Otherwise known as #janphotoaday
Tristan is doing it too, which i am excited about, and we are going to make a Blurb instagram book with all of our photos when we're done! Definitely a fun way to capture time, and I hope we do more of this so we can remember all the details of this year, which is a BIG BIG year for us! Here are days 1-8...
