collage class homework!!

the assignment for this one is to create a self portrait, using only solid paper where you are recognizable AND part animal. I didn't really feel like making myself part animal, so i dressed myself as a butterfly :-)
I did use all cut paper, and scanned it in to digitally assemble! here's the piece and a detail of it- let me know what you think because i still have a few days (after my florida trip) to make revisions!!!

I'm going to Disney World....

for a meeting tomorrow! :-)
thought i'd share a pic...be back with a lot of art this weekend!!

collage class homework!!

here's my illustration of fall:
let me know your thoughts please- i still have a day to make any changes! (and for illustration friday- when i think "sugary" i think sweet, as in how these owls look lol...a stretch, i know)

and based on my critique during the last class, here's the updated chicken illustration!!
