le life update...

lots going on in the land o' margot these days. lots of it is semi-confidential for a few more weeks but i am thrilled to be able to work on/help out with some AMAZING projects. like coolest of all time projects. just sayin' ;-)

and in update news, meeting blog/tweet peeps is one of my favorite things! i was able to attend an etsy lab this week, and i was able to meet Erica of PS I MADE THIS!
check out her blog HERE and for my crafty pals, her book is EXCELLENT. i'm not just saying that. i'm really on the critical side of books. but this one is beautiful and the projects are awesome and original and you should all get it, stat!



also, as some of you know...TRISTAN AND I ARE MOVING IN TOGETHER! officially, this move takes place next month, but we have slowly started the process...and here are a few photos! we're making a big photo wall. i'm so excited about it! here is the wall inspo! and expect many more pics of the move in process...many!!


and i'm working on a very cool project, but the client asked that it remain confidential until after the event soooooo...here's a bit of a tease :-)
but i'm very excited about it and can't wait to show you all!

i have lived on the same block for over 3 years. the other night, out of nowhere, with no sign or warning we could see all the way to the next block! HOW WEIRD IS THAT!!!!!
date nights at MOMA are good nights for fun photos :-)

we happened to have a print of a photo i took, and decided IT should be displayed in the museum too!
and i am very grateful to have some very fun friends...and i'm equally grateful for halloween candy in all it's forms.

the inspiration for my photoshoot weekend comes from the RVA small craft class...there's a ton of adorable projects in the class, but this one in particular (creating photoshoots with easy accessible make-believe props) was easily adapted for grown ups :-)
i see many more photoshoots like this in my future...
