one of my favorite people on the planet is making a cow for COWPARADE! today i went to flushing, queens to visit liz while she worked and i was blown away by how amazing her cow is coming out!!!

as so many of you know, i LOVE doilies. love love love love love.
some really nice people have fed this obsession lately, and i just wanted to post a GIANT thank you to Dot (of Taylor's grandparental fame) for the most amazing assortment of doilies EVER!
now if only kelly ripa would let me use them!!
she loves doilies and ribbons even more than i do!

and big thanks to rachel for this awesome PLASTIC doily that now beholds my pin cushion!!!

on meeting blog friends....

it's really amazing to feel like you KNOW someone because you read their posts, thoughts, etc. and see their photos on a daily basis! and then BAM! you hop on an airplane and there they are. in real life!!!
i feel so so so lucky to have taken this trip with my sis..we are already of thinking of where we can travel next year!
