Other exciting things that happened in 1983...
-The musical Annie was performed for the last time after 2,377 shows at the Uris Theatre on Broadway, New York City.
-Swatch introduced their first watches.
-The first non-American Disney theme park opened in Japan as Tokyo Disneyland.
-Michael Jackson's world famous music video for "Thriller" broadcasted for the first time.
-McDonald's introduced the McNugget.

Other exciting things that have happened on May 31st...
-The last Ford Model T rolled off the assembly line after a production run of 15,007,003 vehicles.
-The United States enacted its first copyright statute.
-Clint Eastwood & Brooke Shields were born.
-Former FBI official W. Mark Felt stepped forward as "Deep Throat," the secret Washington Post source that helped bring down President Richard M. Nixon during the Watergate scandal.

basically, i have the most exciting birth date of all time. thanks mom & dad :-)

and now i'm off to atlantic city for the weekend!
